Worker's wouldn't like to sacrifice personal lives because of their job imperatives. work life balance has always been fraught with challenges that have of late assumed significant proportions and is concerned to be most pressing concern for workers today. Organisations realise that the quality of workers personal life directly bear their job performance. In this paper we have attempted to highlight why work life balance policies should be promoted and form core part of organisation human resource policy to optimise its business interests.
