Data was collected from 644 respondents from two IT firms-Infosys 332 and Wipro 312 using the Survey method in which questionnaires were used. The Leadership Profile Survey (LPS) developed by Marshall Sashkin and W E Rosenbach 1996 was administered to the same sample to determine the leadership behaviors and characteristics as perceived by the employees.
