Values are attitudes, feelings and convictions regarding what are of strong worth. Values are inherent in all societies ideals and shared beliefs that bond a community together. Human Values are necessary in todays management. There are many ways in which the basic human values- trust, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence can be practiced in the day to day conduct of business. Work takes the most significant and important place in humna life because people devote their significant amout of time to work and they stay at the workplace. Study of workplace has taken important role as people are not just interested in working for making money, but they are also equally concerned with the overall experience of work, the job, the place, the people so on and so forth. Indian Values are centered on the antecedents of hard work, family, discipline and collectiveness. It is the cultivation of these values within an individual that helps one in translating ones behaviour into ethical behaviour and provides opportunity to the individuals in society for self expression and self development, resulting in social progress."
